It may does not offer spectacular specs with an acceleration rate from 0-60 mph in 11.5 seconds and a top speed of 115 mph, but it fires back with great fuel economy ratings. Making things a bit more fast is the stronger 1.6-liter “E.torQ” engine. This baby produces 108 horses and 112 pound-feet and has a 0-60 mph acceleration of 11.2 seconds and a top speed of 119 mph.


The diesel options are   1.3-liter and 1.6-liter MultiJet engines. The smaller produces 94 horsepower and 148 pound-feet and an acceleration of 11.7 seconds to 60 mph and a top speed of 112 mph, while the larger has 118 horses and 236 pound-feet and acceleration of 9.7 seconds with a top speed of 124 mph. Gasoline engines use six-speed manual transmission, while the diesel ones come with a five-cog unit for the smaller one and the six-speed automatic gearbox for the bigger one.

Price and release date

The 2016 Fiat Tipo is going to be first available in the European markets, appearing first in its homeland of Italy. The car is going to cost €14,500 in Italy, €13,050 in Germany and £11,610 in the UK. Most markets will have the use of three available trim levels and are going to add Uconnect Radio, Uconnect 5″, and Uconnect 5″ Nav in their combination. The release date starts from the middle of this year.
