Undeniably, the S7 has stunning swiftness and amazing athletic moves, it also scores on rather less exciting, but imperative fronts. The vehicle has surprisingly respectable fuel economy and it is a great choice when considering road trips or nights on the town. The vehicle has abundance of cargo volume in comparison to other sedans in its segment, thanks to its sleek hatchback body style.

Obviously, Audi won’t be the sole automaker capable of seducing would-be users with a sleek V8. The stylish 2016 BMW 650i Gran Coupe has also proven to be enticing and handsome, while the Mercedes Benz CLS550 is both attractive and quick in a more powerful way. And in case you don’t mind spending much, the Porsche Panamera’s sleek driving dynamics might prove to be your ultimate choice, although its styling remains marred in controversy.

2016 Audi SQ5 SUV

The vehicle comes mostly unchanged save for subtle changes on its interior upholstery and brake calipers. Very few options exist in the compact luxury crossover segment especially if you are seeking for a top-performance version. At the helm of them all is the 2016 Audi SQ5 despite coming with an installed supercharged 3.0L V6 drivetrain. The vehicle boasts of about thirty percent more power.

Furthermore, the SQ5 gains sporty seats, diamond stitched leather surfaces, sportier suspension tuning, subtle exterior styling and gray-faced gauges. Similar to the regular Q5, the SQ5 sports the same pros and cons such as the lack of top safety technology tidbits, inadequate interior space, and lack of versatility especially for the propriety music interface.

Fortunately, the segment is populated with other alternatives worth considering. They include the BMW X3 and the Porsche Macan. However, the SQ5 remains the best choice in this niche.

Exterior Review & Interior Changes – 2016 Audi SQ5

The compact luxury crossover 2016 Audi SQ5 will be provided in two trims: the Premium Plus and the plush Prestige model.

The luxury laden 2016 Audi SQ5 Technology package comes with the Technology package as its standard equipment list, but adds rear door sunshades, cooled and heated cupholder, and adaptive headlights.

The Luxury package comes optional for the two trims and extends red brake calipers, premium leather upholstery, body color mirrors, rear side airbags, perforated front seats, matte black roof rails, diamond stitched leather upholstery, 21” wheels, and gloss-black exterior trim.

Interior wise, the vehicle comes with classy cabin elements conventionally provided in other top-performance models such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz. They include an exquisite aluminum/leather shift knob, simulated suede trim, and flat-bottomed steering wheel. Additionally, you will sport plenty of “SQ5” badges, aluminum pedals, diamond stitched leather upholstery, trademark gray instrument faces, and sport themed additions.

However, less inspiring is the standard MMI system. The controller and its associated buttons are less intuitive and easy to use. Additionally, the Premium Plus trim doesn’t come equipped with Bluetooth audio and a knob mounted joystick. Another apathetic feature is the outdated propriety audio interface.

2016 Audi SQ5 Engine Specs

The vehicle comes fitted with a supercharged 3L V6 engine capable of cranking out 354 hp and 346 pounds of torque. Just as the regular Q5, the vehicle comes standard with an eight-speed auto transmission system and an AWD. In our own-conducted test drive, a 2016 Audi SQ5 was able to clock 5.0 seconds from a naught to 60 mph sprint.

The EPA ratings for the SQ5 are 17/24/19 mpg in the city/highway/combined.

Some of the safety equipment to expect include a rearview camera, blind spot monitor, traction control, antilock brakes, back and front parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and side curtain airbags.

The brake testing we conducted resulted in the 2016 Audi SQ5 stopping from an acceleration of 0-60 mph in a dumbfounding 103ft.

2017 Audi TTS – Release Date, Review and Specs

The new 2017 Audi TTS is constructed with performance at its core. Some of the reasons that we find appealing about the Audi TTS 2017 include a standard all-wheel drive system, a unique exterior design, and a high-tech interior design. Just like the higher performance Audi S3 version is based on the 2017 Audi A3, the Audi TTS also derives its inspiration from the regular Audi TT. The Audi TT is superfluous in its own right: 0-60 mph takes 5.5 seconds and comes from 60 mph back to naught in just 103 feet, and its interior comes chock full of new technologies.
