The new 2017 Audi A6 has been built by the same key selling points that Audi full-size models are offered. The pillars in question are: technology, design, and quality. Audi in overall is further enhancing its models with the start of the new model year. Both the Audi A6 and the Audi a6 Avant feature front fascias that accentuate horizontally, struts in high-gloss black contours, and bold contours in the new front apron. The rear bumper and the side sills are more angular than before, while a finishing touch is offered for the new diffuser. Its release date has been set for early 2017.
The Audi A6 offers top-notch technology, a beautifully-crafted cabin, and a solid performance. It could get by on looks alone given its exceptional classic styling. Highlights that constitute the Audi A6 DNA include intuitive high-tech features, powerful engines, spacious interior, impressive fuel economy, and high-quality cabin materials. The most notable feature added to the 2017 model is the new, sportier 3.0T Competition package, and to a lesser extent subtle new style upgrades.
2017 has seen quite a substantial number of brands refresh or fully-redesign their models’ offerings. And the luxury end spectrum hasn’t been spared either. Midsize sedan shoppers are spoilt for choice. That said, we only hope the Audi A6 2017 has braced itself for a ruthless competition. “That shouldn’t be a problem,” Audi might interject. See, the Audi A6 hasn’t had a full redesign for four years now, and still has managed to wade through the segment competition quite successfully. This success can be attributed to the A6’s blend of classic styling, modern interior design, ride refinement, and efficient power. Add this to the taut suspension and its solid thrust, and it’s no surprise that even after four years without a substantial makeover, the A6 still manages to be considered an “A” rated sedan by most, if not all, automotive quarters.
In addition to the new 3.0T Competition package that packs features such as a unique leather upholstery, sharper handling, and a more powerful engine, the new model also gets an upgraded entertainment and smartphone interfaces, expanded wheel choices, and new styling treatments. Good as the 2017 A6 may be, the truth of the matter is it isn’t for everyone. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is more elegant, features a redesigned look, and offers plenty of aggression and sport. The 2017 BMW 5 Series isn’t sporty or hip. And even though it may be a retrained choice, its build quality, features, and power make it a stand out. Last, but certainly not the least is the Cadillac CTS 2017. The CTS is Detroit’s answer to the A6, thanks to its unique sports car handling and distinct style. Another option worth pondering about is perhaps the Lexus GS 350.
