2017 Bentley Bentayga Release Date, Review and Specs

The fresh Bentley Bentayga for 2017 undoubtedly marks a new direction for the British brand, and despite this, the vehicle still looks and feels like a Bentley. The diamond grille, and the strong rear haunch on the nose are conspicuously recognizable. Its release date, according to Bentley, should be expected in February this year.

Like the Continental and the Flying Spur before it, the vehicle manages to take advantage of the Volkswagen ownership of Bentley. The Bentayga still makes use of the same architecture underpinning as the well-appointed, stylish and Audi’s flagship Q7 model. At 5.14 meters long, the Q7 is undeniably a large SUV, but that didn’t stop the Bentayga from being even longer.

But unlike the Q7, the new 2017 Bentley Bentayga won’t offer a seven-passenger seating capacity, although Bentley says that it will do so later. So will the hybrid and diesel engines. As a start, Bentley is offering a mind-boggling 6.0L W12 engine juggernaut.

2017 Bentley Bentayga exterior, headlights and grille

See, the vehicle weighs 2.5 tonnes and for a car this size to saunter to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 187 mph, you’ll definitely need a powerful engine. As a start, getting two turbochargers, and an engine displacement of 6.0L and 12 cylinders should do the trick.

Offered as a standard is a 30kg cylinder deactivation system that promises 21.6 mpg and emits 297g/km of carbon dioxide gas. But you’ll need all the best in the world for you to get anywhere those fuel consumption figures in real-life driving.

The upgraded suspension tuning offers up to four driving modes and four off-road ones for its four-wheel-drive powertrain and its air suspension system. As you’d expect from a Bentley, the ride is smooth and serene and it isn’t pegged on whether you are in Sport or Comfort mode, because with a Bentley, things can never be overly firm.

The W12 engine offers a smooth ride particularly at low revs, however, working it harder makes the ride “roar” like a true Bentley which really makes the driving experience worthwhile and special. Again at low speeds, you might encounter an occasionally snatch from the automatic gearbox.

In overall, though, the vehicle is very comfortable and quiet. Well, you don’t expect such a massive vehicle to be as agile as sporty sedans. The well-weighted steering offers a smooth and swift acceleration in a straight line.

Considering to buy one? Wait! True, Bentley has established itself a reputation for being a car that provides a generous level of luxury and British appeal. Very few cars can ably afford to offer the thick end of 200 mph while still offering unrivaled comfort and appeal. So yes. Get yourself one 2017 Bentayga if you are not tight on budget.

Interior wise, the vehicle comes equipped with soft-touch materials, and upscale technologies. In a nutshell, buyers should expect the fresh 2017 Bentley Bentayga to stay true to the Bentley tradition. Some of the features available on the vehicle include a new electronic controller, steering wheel paddles, additional switches, part-dial-controlled infotainment system, leather and veneer upholstery, side bolsters, chrome bezels, cocoon-like front cabin, armchair like seats, and automatic climate control.

Engine Specs – 2017 Bentley Bentayga

Under the hood of the new 2017 Bentley Bentayga is a variety of engines for buyers to choose. This, according to Bentley, is because they want to sell the vehicle on the global market. Also, for 2017, a diesel engine will be provided – a first for the British manufacturer.

As of writing this, there is a confirmed W-12 engine for the top-of-the-line engine and is the most technically advanced. The output stands at an impressive 600 horsepower and 664 pounds of torque. This unit makes use of a new fuel injection technology, cylinder deactivation system, and friction reduction. Its emissions are expected to be below 250g/km.

2017 Bentley Bentayga engine

Sending power to all the four wheels is an eight-speed automatic transmission system. Things get even more interesting with its 4.0 seconds acceleration to 60 mph, as this makes the vehicle the quickest SUV in the whole world. Additionally, with a top speed rated at 187 mph, the Bentayga undoubtedly holds the title for being the fastest SUV.

Next up is a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine rated at 450 hp. at this point, that is the only detail known, but we are burning the midnight oil in trying to mystify the rest of the information.

Finally, although we could see more engines being offered, is a 4.1L twin-turbocharged V8 diesel engine. Also on the table is a higher performance Speed version and a hybrid variant which are expected to be unveiled later this year.

2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Release Date, Specs, Engine, MPG – The birth of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 models came to be in 1965 when Ford gave birth to the GT350 brand and Shelby was commissioned to make high-performance vehicles. This quickly resulted in making the first generation Mustang car that was lighter than the ones present then which were not that powerful at the time. With the Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue stripes as their paintjob, the brand was born and this year we are expecting and comeback with a 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 model release.

The years to come after the initial release brought us many vehicles that sported the name of this brand well. The particularly popular ones were the 66 models, 67, 68 and 69 respectably, which were based on the original with some minor cosmetic changes. The brand continued till 2011 when the last model of this legendary brand was made and the brand discontinued.

As the last model was a sixth generation vehicle, Ford is continuing it from there and we still get a sixth generation one for the 2016 model year but an already tracked prepared version. The car comes with many performance enhancing changes, like the independent rear suspension addition, and is going to be the answer to the Chevy’s Camaro X/28 vehicle and the newest Dodge Challenger which is also in the making. The car was already spotted doing laps at the Nurburgring track when the pictures of it were offered as the car is getting in shape for its release that comes soon. The design of the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 makes it the meanest looking Mustang ever to be created and runs a close race to the top of being the most aggressive looking car eve to be made. The only things left from the base Mustang car are its lights while everything else has been drastically reshaped. The nose part of the car has shrunk and is now much more aerodynamic, this enables the car achieve better performance rates and specs. This gives you an impression as if the body of the car stretches across the engine bay while some added parts of the car make it seem as if the car sits lower than the previous design.

Besides being smaller and slimmer, the most part of the car also has a lot of aero enhancements. They include a new splitter, larger air funnels, there are some funnels inside the grille that help move air in a practical way now as well and many more things that upgrade the car’s performance. There aren’t any fog lights any more as they are replaced with a cooling for the brakes while the badge has been replaced with a Shelby badge. The profile of the car has changed the most and incorporates a new stance of the car. It uses the larger 19-inch alloy wheels and some recontoured aluminum fenders.  The back part gets a functional diffuser kit which regulates air flow as well and provides better down force for the car. Additionally, to reduce drag there is a subtle lip spoiler added across the tail of the car.

There is the same level of sporty attention provided to the inside of the 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 as seen on the outside. This is why the steering has a flat bottom so it makes it easier for you to sleep in and out of the car. By the way, the seats are made from Recaro leather and are extremely comfortable for fast rides. They are perfectly shaped and designed for track running and like that offer much comfort. There is a special offer of choosing a special materials that is only made for GT350 cars which makes things even more comfortable than before. This has been done by spending hundreds of hours on prototype testing in order to come up with a perfect combination and solution in the end.

What has been done to reduce the distraction to the driver is to remove all the chrome parts on the inside of the car and reduce the glare effect that way. The gauges are all changed becomes of the change of the speeds and revs of the car. The design has changed along with the specs of the car as well and now the dash matches the performance as well and features a new style. All the modern performance cars have some special features inside and this one is exception as well. So ABS brakes, stability and traction control systems are well incorporated into the vehicle’s inside.
