2017 BMW 750i xDrive Release Date, News and Rumors

The fully redesigned BMW 750i xDrive for 2017 aims to get back its groove back with proven powertrains, a raft of new technologies, and standard long-wheelbase dimensions. Some of its upsides for 2017 include a standard adaptive air suspension capable of enhancing both control and comfort; desirable and plentiful luxury features; impeccably refined engines, and a standard long-wheelbase version sibling that is aimed at improving the rear legroom. Its release date should be expected in August this year.

2017 BMW 750i xDrive exterior, white color

The outgoing 7 Series is without a doubt an excellent car by most standards, but new and redesigned vehicles are consistently being produced each day and, as such, a fresher model must be released every so often in order to give its buyers a freshening appeal even if it’s unnecessary sometimes.

The 2017 model brings forth a slew of important upgrades and executive appeal over the previous model. Top on the list of one such intriguing upgrade is the standard long-wheelbase version. It measures an impressive 126.4” between the wheels, this represents a 2” more than what the Mercedes-Benz S-Class offers.

This, for starters, represents plenty of legroom for the backseat passengers. Another notable upgrade for the 7 Series executive sedan is the standard Active Comfort Drive (camera-based predictive program) system. This program monitors the prevailing pavement conditions in real-time in order to ensure uninterrupted ride quality. The program compares to the S-Class “Magic Body Control.”

Also for 2017, the 7 Series continues to impress with its impressive engine lineup just like the outgoing model. The 750i xDrive comes equipped with a 4.4L turbocharged V8 juggernaut engine rated at 445 horsepower. The 740i rear-wheel drive also offers an impressive 3.0L turbocharged inline-six engine rated at 320 hp.

2017 BMW 750i xDrive exterior, alloy wheels

The new 2017 BMW 750i xDrive isn’t in a class of its own, and will have to compete with other top-rated vehicles. The nearest bogey for the 750I xDrive is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Others include the 2016 Porsche Panamera, the Jaguar XJ 2017, and the 2017 Audi A8. Nevertheless, the 750i xDrive remains one of the best cars in the segment and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for prestige, and performance.

Available Trims – BMW 7 Series

The new 2017 BMW 7 Series is available in two trims: the 740i and the 750i xDrive trims presently. There are others on the way, but as of this writing, only the above two trims are available.

2016 Kia Rio Release Date and Review

2016 Kia Rio Release Date, MSRP Price, Specs, Colors – The Kia Rio vehicle has been launched for the first time back in 2001 as a legit alternative vehicle for the Japanese equivalents which are much pricier. The Rio is still in its second generation form and as we are not getting the next gen car pretty soon, Kia deemed it fit that a light mid-life refresh was in order. Thus we get a 2016 Kia Rio which will arrive in dealerships any time soon.

2016 Kia Rio
2016 Kia Rio

The latest vehicle from Kia was showcased at the Paris Auto Show last year and gave us a glimpse on what to expect of the forthcoming car. Now when its release date gets nearer and nearer it was fit to make a review and tell you what to expect from the coming Rio car. The car comes in both hatchback and sedan forms now, with the sedan version being a bit more updated to match the characteristics of the hatch which was changed already before.

The refresh was necessary for a whole other reason as well. The 2014 sales year measured a large drop in sales of the Rio vehicle, so much that the competition that is the Nissn Versa, Chevy Sonic or Ford Fiesta vehicles took the primes spots in this segment and did not allow the Rio to make it back in any way. Thus this updated will determine if the Rio is fit enough to swim with the big fishes and everyone is hoping that it will at least raise some sales at first.

There was a large updated added to the design of the new 2016 Kia Rio exterior. It now incorporates some changes done to the front and rear fascia that provide the car with a lower and much wider and thus a great sporty look. Up front you will notice the same but much thinner tiger grille added which also pushes the headlights a bit inward. There are some new fog lights added while the surrounds have been complete revised. The lower valance is larger and straighter than the one seen in the 2015 model which also adds to the enhanced and lower and wider look of the new Kia Rio.

The back side was unfortunately not refreshed that much as the front, but it does not matter as it looks great like this for the newest design. What was added were the new reflectors which have been placed closer to the outer side of the bumpers. This also enhances the look of the car a bit and helps the spread the winded image a bit. Other changes about the exterior are concerned with the colors. The car now receives the Urban Blue and Digital Yellow and two new color options for the 2016 model year. We assume that these changes will be enough to make the car a lot more attractive and also provide it with a needed boost in sales.

Interior

There are some adequate changes on the interior of the 2016 Kia Rio. The main change means using the more high-density foam within the A-pillars and the B-pillars which actually results in reducing the NVH. The previous design of the cabin made the Rio already a car with a pretty quiet inside and the added changes for the 2016 will only add to this and make things even better. The added materials make the vehicle get a higher-grade feel compared to before and give a much better atmosphere like this. The incorporated changes include the piano-black center console and the satin-finish bezels around the air vents.
