The following review will delve right into the exact details concerning what to expect from the new 2016 Honda HRV. So keep posted until the end. The HR-V coincidentally happens to be among a growing group of subcompact SUVs.

The segment includes the recently unveiled Jeep Renegade , which takes pride in offering the best off-roading capabilities, and the Nissan Juke, which is less spacious but very powerful. Another option would be the Mazda CX-3, which carefully sanitizes the Mazda CX-5 personality into a compact package.

2016 Fiat Tipo Release Date and Review

Newly appointed for the market is the 2016 Fiat Tipo. It is going to be a brand which will replace the aging Linea model and make a mark in the compact sedan segment. In fact it is going to make its mark in the highly disputed C-segment where its main competitors are going to be the Toyota Corolla and the Ford Focus sedan. But the Italian automaker has no doubts that their new vehicle is going to pose a great resistance to these giants in the field.

Actually the Tipo is not completely new. The vehicle, which name translates as “type” from Italian, was used in the period between 1988 and 1995 as a hatchback model. It was made by being bolstered on completely new platform back then as it shared it with various Alfa Romeo cars from that period. Unfortunately, it fade out during the 1995 model year and was soon replaced by the Bravo vehicle. It is time for it to make a spectacular new comeback to the market.

The car is designed in Italy and produced in Turkey and will in fact be made available in more than 50 markets around the world. Described as a very functional car which emphasis the phrase “great value for money” to its peak. Unfortunately people from the US are going to wait a little bit as there is no current indications that this model is going to be offered there. People in America can enjoy the Fiat’s 500 and 124 Spider that are going to cross the pond. For more information about this vehicle study this review thoroughly.

The 2016 Fiat Tipo comes with a fresh new design which manages to fix all the flaws the previous Linea experienced. It is actually something that the customers expect more from a functional and affordable car in this modern era. Actually the Fiat Tipo bares a lot of resemblance to the Egea concept which was introduced to us in 2015. The wide grill at the front has some floating chrome inserts and a pair of very stylish headlamps. The engine hood is also very nicely sculptured while the back side has more of the Egea that the rest of the car. Particularly noticeable are the C-shaped headlamp and the chrome trim which is placed above the license plates.

Looking at the Tipo from the sides we notice more premium look which is mainly possible because of the pronounced waistline. There are some chrome door handles and a chrome lower window-trim. You can get your Fiat Tipo with either 16-inch wheels or the 17-inch ones and choose one of the seven available exterior colors that it comes with, as it includes Gelato White, Colosseo Grey, Amore Red, Cinema Black, Maestro Grey, Magnetico Bronze and Canal Grande Blue. Taking a gander to the dimensions of the car you can notice that it is completely identical to the Linea which is replaces.

The inside of the 2016 Fiat Tipo is a complete departure from the thing we saw in the Linea car. It does its best to redesign the look and appear entirely differently and refreshed. The changes made are the redesign of the dashboard, a much cleaner center console with a completely brand new steering wheel. Actually the Tipo has a much more upscale and a roomier inside from the Linea but it actually keeps some of the hard plastic parts on the inside. It can boast with a great display of interior space as it adds more legroom than any car in the segment and a very comfortable rear passenger’s part. The 60/40 rear seat split enables a load of 520 liters in the cargo bay.

2016 Fiat Tipo interior, leathe seats

There are also a bunch of technological goodies that come available on the inside. Every Fiat Tipo comes with a LCD screen, Bluetooth and AM/FM radio. But if you want to get some more interesting parts on the inside you can choose a higher trim model which adds five-inch Uconnect touchscreen which you can use to access DAB radio and multimedia connectivity. But the highest trim levels are the ones where you can get TomTom 3D navigation with TMC and IQ Routes and a 220-watt audio system. To make the interior more classy and customizable you can choose from an available range of Mopar accessories.

There are rumors that say that the 2016 Fiat Tipo is going to come with two gasoline and two diesel engines, but this is going to depend on the market they appear. The 1.4-liter, four-cylinder “Fire” unit is one of them and it makes about 94 horsepower and 94 pound-feet. It may does not offer spectacular specs with an acceleration rate from 0-60 mph in 11.5 seconds and a top speed of 115 mph, but it fires back with great fuel economy ratings. Making things a bit more fast is the stronger 1.6-liter “E.torQ” engine. This baby produces 108 horses and 112 pound-feet and has a 0-60 mph acceleration of 11.2 seconds and a top speed of 119 mph.

The diesel options are   1.3-liter and 1.6-liter MultiJet engines. The smaller produces 94 horsepower and 148 pound-feet and an acceleration of 11.7 seconds to 60 mph and a top speed of 112 mph, while the larger has 118 horses and 236 pound-feet and acceleration of 9.7 seconds with a top speed of 124 mph. Gasoline engines use six-speed manual transmission, while the diesel ones come with a five-cog unit for the smaller one and the six-speed automatic gearbox for the bigger one.

The car is going to cost €14,500 in Italy, €13,050 in Germany and £11,610 in the UK. Most markets will have the use of three available trim levels and are going to add Uconnect Radio, Uconnect 5″, and Uconnect 5″ Nav in their combination. 2017 Subaru Impreza Release Date, News and Rumors

There is a great chance that we see the 2017 Subaru Impreza really soon. Quite repentantly the concept vehicle was announced and showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show, with fans hoping to see the actual car really soon. Never have they thought that it might come as soon as this. The vehicle is already being announced as a production ready model which has been confirmed with the released spy photos and videos of the vehicle being tested on the public roads.

The vehicle was spotted doing rounds under a heavily layer of camouflage as it roams the streets of California. But the sharp eye of the photographers managed to capture and recognize the vehicle as being the next-gen Impreza car. This is going to be the fifth-generation Subaru Impreza that is going to be released on the market and it is going to be offered as a hatchback version.

2017 Subaru Impreza rear view, tailpipe and taillights

As many things about the 2017 Subaru Impreza are still not familiar to the general public one thing is for certain. The vehicle is going to use the Subaru Global Platform which is very soon going to be utilized in all other models of the Subaru that get to be released. The car is being developed in the Lafayette, Indiana plant, and will be offered in 4-door or 5-door variants equally. As the release date gets nearer there are going to be more information available with the car but for now read the currently familiar info in this review.

2017 Subaru Impreza exterior

2017 Subaru Impreza front angle, grille and headlights

Despite the exterior of the 2017 Subaru Impreza being neatly packed and preserved, there are a lot of things that people have already noticed and a lot of photos being offered and circling the net. This greatly helped devise the new image of the 2017 Impreza and how it is going to look as a future release. The first noticeable thing is the longer wheelbase but a shorter front overhang. The hood has also gone through a change as it was reshaped while the headlights do not only appear to be longer than before but also add LED clusters to them as well. The back side sees the incorporation of new taillights that extend into the tailgates, which is something that reminds us on the third-gen Impreza.

2017 Subaru Impreza rear angle, taillights and tailpipe

Compared to the concept vehicle that was released at the Tokyo show there are going to be some changes. One of them is that the vehicle does not get to be as wide as the concept. The prototype also excludes the C-shaped light units and the front apron and also no coupe-like roof. The newest car plans to be more of an evolution rather than the revolution of the vehicle as it brings us a complete logical like styling. We do expect to see more changes and some other innovations which will appear as the vehicle drops its camouflage.

The interior of the 2017 Subaru Impreza might actually get more attention than its exterior. Particularly as they are making it a lot more quality looking and as they are incorporating some fine detailing inside of it. This has been a sort of a weak spot for many Subaru vehicles up till now. Many designs have struggled with a mediocre look of the interior which also features very low quality. This time that is all going to change as the Impreza is going to adopt a much more premium look with various kinds of additions that particularly concentrate on a more premium design of the steering wheel and the center stack.

2017 Subaru Impreza interior, leather seats and dashboard

The wheel is going to be wrapped with leather and is going to add some aluminum inserts on its spoke as well. The button cluster on the wheel is going to be rearranged as well and is going to make it much more user friendly like that as well. The new design also enables the right side of the vehicle to be used for activating some safety features that was not considered before. The center display has been carried over from the previous design but it is the button configuration, the one on the wheel as well, what sells this car and what gives it a more quality and premium appearance. Additionally, expect to get some updated and larger spacing on the inside due to the longer wheelbase.

2017 Subaru Impreza engine

There are several predictions about the engine that is going to be utilized under the hood of the vehicle as well. The 2017 Subaru Impreza is supposedly going to get the newly developed 2.0-liter flat-four which has a larger output and better fuel economy. The predictions about the output extend to 160 horsepower and at least 150 pound-feet of torque. Some predictions say that there is going to be a  1.6-liter, turbo-four  engine offered for other markets that can develop 190 pound-feet of torque, while the US market is going to have a 2.0-liter with a  either a manual or a CVT system. These models are perhaps going to come with an EPA rating of 38 mpg highway and 29 mpg city.

Price and release date

As this is still at the prototype production level we can expect the 2017 Subaru Impreza to arrive somewhere next year. This means that the vehicle might become available at the beginning of the year perhaps. The prices are going to be a bit higher than the current model with $20,000 in base trim and at least $26,000 for the range-topping model. Consider the rivaling model that come in the form of Hyundai Elantra, Kia Forte and Volkswagen Golf as the vehicles that are also announced in this segment.
