2016 VW Tiguan Release Date, Review, MSRP, Price – As you would expect from VW, the Tiguan has been successful in bridging the gap between the upscale and mainstream vehicles as well. True, it definitely costs more than other crossovers, but its returns far outweigh its alternatives in many aspects. A Tiguan will always guarantee its users of above-average performance and refinement, along with a considerable amount of exclusivity. So, expect the 2017 VW Tiguan to overturn the tables yet again.
One sure thing that won’t get updated in the new 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan is the way it drives. The interior design and materials are conspicuously made of high quality leather, at least for high-end models, while the punchy turbocharged 4-cylinder engine ensures you are kept alert on morning work commutes.
That said, there are a couple of other compact crossovers that can match most of what the Tiguan offers in terms of interior sophistication, engine performance, interior refinement and driveability dynamics. One such model which also sums up as a formidable competitor is the Mazda CX-5 – a perfect all-rounder that is fun to drive. The Honda CR-V compares poorly to the Tiguan but it has the utility and value to die for. Lastly, you can check out the Ford Escape, a vehicle known for its nimble road manners, cutting-edge technology, lots of standard features and a strong turbocharged engine.
