2016 Ford Fusion Release Date, MSRP Price, Review, Interior – What the 2016 Ford Fusion brings is actually mostly explained by its name, and that means a fusion of many different things. The car mixes up some new and graceful good looks, a fuel efficient powertrain that goes very well with the car and provides responsiveness, and off the charts comforts and interior space and luxury that is hard to come by these days. The car is a typical Ford design vehicle and one which uses different aspects and mixes them up into a cohesive whole.
What not many cars have been able to achieve is to get the desired interior space and mix it up with good looks. The Fusion has been able to pull that out with a new look which is more than comfortable with the spacing it now offers but one which looks good as well. The car is handsome and athletic and has a multitude of tech support that enables you to have an equally good time as the offered drive itself.
The design does not lack the effort put into the interior. The exterior design of the vehicle has been merged with the inside and holds a perfect combination of everything put together. Since the previous model was voted as one of the handsomest looking car of the year, choosing not to remodel it too much is a great thing. Retaining the profile and the majority of the design is a great choice and with the added inside redesign it makes everything even greater. Check out the rest of the review to find out how things actually click together.
2016 Ford Fusion exterior
The manner the Fusion vehicle was designed explains a lot about the car. Actually the look is not w fresh one, it has been around for already 4 years and somehow it has managed to hold on and remain fresh throughout the entire period. It is really wonderful looking car which will make any person turn when the Focus passes behind him or her and is a great example of fine craftsmanship. This is the main reason why the vehicle was not significantly reshaped for the 2016 year. We do not exaggerate when saying that this is perhaps the perfect example on how the car needs to be design, from left to right and from bottom to top, the car is a masterpiece and a beauty and it can be even hard to take your eyes off it as well.
The vehicle exemplifies boldness from its front end immediately. The way how the grille has incorporated the hexagonal design balances the car perfectly. The grille has been perfectly paled among the headlamps and the fog lamps and has something of a combination of an Aston or a Hyundai or something like that in there somewhere. The profile of the car is great and the best part is the softly arched roofline which from some angles make it look like an A7 vehicle. The taillights have already been noticeable borrowed from the A7 but the roofline is something that is similar to it but not confirmed. If you look at the car from a distance, you will learn that it has near-perfect proportions and a sense of identity.
Plain and simple, the inside of the 2016 Ford Fusion is clean and functional. The center stack of the car has been reborn with the design and has been reformed to fit the new Sync screen and controls. It does not have the punctual inside like the Focus and the Fiesta vehicle doe but actually uses the simple metallic rings to frame the center stack of controls which actually results in giving the inside a strong imprint on the car. There is even a storage bin under the controls that opens at the sides which has been inspired by the Volvo car.
Even the lower trims of the Fusion get a LCD screen for radio and SYNC displays. It has a multitude of buttons added to the sides of it which account for the functionality and easiness of use. There is a bit of too much gloss black plastic added to the dash and the door panels which is perhaps the sole characteristic that is unnecessary here. It perhaps looks great when it is new, but after a few miles, it is prone to scratches and does not have an appealing look to it. This year the Terra Cota package makes a comeback in the SE and Titanium trims which adds a bit of luxury inside it and there is the added luxury package available for the S trim that does a great job in upgrading the appearance as well.
The engine of the 2016 Ford Fusion is not appropriate if we compare it with the looks of the car as the outside suggest more power, but the 178-horsepower, 2.5-liter four-cylinder is actually an adequate one for the car this time. It combines with a six-speed automatic and does so with a great performance effort. On the other hand if you want more power, you can opt for the 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbo four engine that produces 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. There is also a middle option which includes the 1.5-liter turbo four that combines with an automatic transmission system. This year there are the Fusion Hybrid and the Fusion Energy options available which come with some enhanced EPA ratings. Some of these engines you can find in 2016 Ford Ranger as well, so you can be sure these are very powerful!
