2016 Audi TT Release Date, MSRP, Review, Interior – The upcoming 2016 Audi TT offers a much better performance rate that its exterior actually leads us to believe. The lighter and much better performance and driving characteristics are enhanced with better handling abilities while the inside has been boosted with a driver orientated interior. Although the design of the vehicle perhaps does not show it so much the new TT version is a beast on the road and certainly one of the faster cars in its segment.
This is going to be the third generation vehicle that Audi is going to release under its TT brand. The car has become quite a roadster in its development and has managed to employ some very nice if not great technological abilities. The vehicle uses its speed and performance rates to its advantage and also boast with a same racing like cockpit which concentrates on the driver and makes the comfort much better.
This is the evolution that this car has received from its first release to today’s 2016 version. It is a technological wonder on the inside and a monster underneath. The biggest drawback is the look, but hey you can’t always have everything. The Audi TT is going to be given as a 2016 model and we might get to see its release pretty soon, until then find out everything that you need from this review. Also keep in mind that the comeption has already brought their own new models, which are namely the 2016 Porsche Cayman, 2017 Chevy Stingray and the 2017 Jaguar F-Type.
2016 Audi TT exterior
If we look back to the first generation of the TT vehicle and compare it to the newest 2016 Audi TT version you will notice a massive step forward. The car has grown into a very nice and sporty looking coupe or roadster. With a direct influence from the R8 sports car, it is going to be a very nice change from its beginning and from the way the car has started. The car will have the same profile that it had with the previous model and will carry over a lot, but will also come with some nice exterior upgrades as well for the newest model year. The car seems actually wider but it is actually a bit narrower than before. It uses some tucked away overhangs and is designed to be a little bit squarer in the corners while benign hunched back at the same time. All of this adds to the aforementioned feel that you get when looking at this car.
But the greatest update has been added to the front of the car. With the new trapezoidal single grille and some LED matrix headlamps it gives a completely new expression to the TT vehicle. You will notice the new hood creasing that are taken directly from the R8 car and its chiseled overall look makes the car a lot leaner looking. The sheetmetal is more taut and lighter while the general changes bring to emphasizing the beltline of the vehicle more. Perhaps this brings to the highest evolutionary step the Audi TT has achieved in a long time and is what the vehicle certainly deserves.
On the inside there are in fact a lot more changes that on the outside. The exterior of the car may be revolutionary when we compare it from the starting model, but the inside of the 2016 Audi TT has been remodeled radically from the previous one. It provides a sporty feel to it that the TT has never had before and truly embodies the nature of the vehicle in a fabulous way. With everything on the inside being set low it marks for a perfect evolutionary point for the car. The infotainment stack and the center console have been removed. Using the new Audi Virtual Cockpit display everything which is interface related has been moved in front of the driver. With a 12.3-inch high-contrast display the driver can utilize these controls and make better use of the control of the car.
Everything has been moved there as well, the steering-wheel toggles, voice controls and even the MMI Touch scratch pad is placed down at the center console. The dash has been set to hang at a certain angle over the passenger’s legs and looks like in an aircraft wing and have an array of air vents as well. There are some distinctive trims that add to the style of the car and also some new colors patterns as well and it all combines for a nice interior design that is much sportier and welcoming than before.
There is not a great difference between the engines that have been used last year and the ones from now. The new 2016 Audi TT is going to sport a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 220 hp and 258 lb-ft while there is going to be a high performance option which is TTS boosted and makes 292 hp and 280 lb-ft. But the difference from last year that ups the performance of the present model is in structure and the considerable weight loss that car has gone though. It enables the car reo receive 0-60 mph specs of 5.3 seconds, while the TTS version can go 4.6 seconds. A great news is also the removal of a manual gearbox but you will just have to make due with he S-tronic dual-clutch automatic one.
